About Us

Since it’s inception in 1959, Babin Machine Tool was founded on the principle of hard work and treating customers with respect and honesty. That philosophy has been enduring as it seems we have been doing something right for the last 50 years. Initially a service company, Leo Babin grew the company, along with his son Paul, to the company that still provides service, but also sells new machine tools both CNC and manual. Hand scraping is still performed during the rebuilding of precision machine tools such as the Hardinge HLV-H toolroom lathe. Customers hear about us from word of mouth which has provided sales to Canada, Mexico, South America, and across the continental USA.
